Masters of Wow! Crouch End Festival Chorus's major new credits
Crouch End Festival Chorus adds more eye-catching credits to its growing list of screen and studio work, with performances on the soundtracks for new blockbuster films Masters of the Universe and Rogue Trooper, the viral Amazon Prime TV series Good Omens 3, and top rock band Muse’s new album The Wow! Signal.
Masters of the Universe, released 5 June 2026
Following CEFC's successful partnership with Daniel Pemberton's recording the soundtrack for The Awakening in 2011, we returned to the studio (two studios, in fact) to record his amazing new soundtrack for The Masters of the Universe. Recording in the iconic Abbey Road Studio 1, and Air Studios in North London, the chorus was directed by David Temple and overseen by Daniel Pemberton and director Travis Knight, with the opening track featuring the iconic Brian May of Queen on guitar.

Rogue Trooper (premiered 22 June 2026, release date to be announced)
Directed by David Temple, Crouch End Festival Chorus recorded the soundtrack for Rogue Trooper in November 2025, with Bear McCreary, the composer, and film producers watching the session live from Los Angeles. The film is a 2026 British adult animated military science fiction feature based on the 2000 AD comic strip of the same name, created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons, and directed by Duncan Jones - son of David Bowie. For the recording, CEFC members were asked to conjure up accents from across the British Isles to add authenticity to the film's setting - and they rose to the challenge brilliantly.
Follow the film's progress on its official IMDb page and see how many accents you can identify when the film soundtrack is released.
Good Omens 3 soundtrack reaches number 2 on the Official Classical Chart
In July 2025, CEFC returned to the studio for the third and final series of Good Omens, the viral Amazon Prime TV series starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen. Directed by David Temple and overseen by composer David Arnold, the chorus supplied both the angelic and demonic vocals for the soundtrack, which reached number 2 on the Official Classical Chart on 11 June 2026.
CEFC is Muse's choir of choice for new album The Wow! Signal - releasing 26 June 2026
In great secrecy, the chorus returned to Abbey Road’s iconic Studio 2 to record tracks for Muse’s latest release. Muse have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and are widely regarded as one of the biggest and most successful modern rock bands.
Directed by David Temple and overseen by Muse's Matt Bellamy and Dominic Howard, CEFC added to its strong record of high-profile collaborations by providing vocals on The Dark Forest and Nightshift Superstar.
