  • We would like to encourage both experienced and inexperienced talented young conductors (aged 18–35) who have an interest in symphonic choral music to apply.
  • This workshop may also be of interest to those thinking of applying for the next Young Conductors Mentoring Scheme (2026-2027)

Workshop details

5 places are available for the following session:

  • 14.00 to 16.30 (13.30 arrival) on Saturday, 14th February 2026.

Workshop music

Vaughan Williams Dona nobis pacem (OUP Edition)

Please bring your own score, ensure that it is the hard copy of the OUP Edition, and do not use a tablet as we need to ensure compatibility with page numbers of the singers’ scores. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be invited to observe. There is also a session for the current YCMS students during the morning (10.30 – 13.00) which those selected can attend as an observer.

Union Church, Weston Park Road, Crouch End, London, N8 9PX

Nearest train stations are Crouch Hill (Overground line) or Finsbury Park (Victoria line, Piccadilly line, Great Northern line and Thameslink).
