Crouch End Festival Chorus in New Video Recording

Crouch End Festival Chorus's recording of Judge Smith's Requiem Mass is featured in a new short film about life in Glastonbury.

Film: A Glastonbury Tale - Life in a Somerset town

The short film records a year in the life of the town of Glastonbury, as it celebrates the solstices and the great festivals of Beltane and Samhain.

The film was inspired and shaped by the stunning Requiem Mass composed by Judge Smith (ex-Van Der Graaf Generator) in 1975. It is in nine parts, entirely in Latin (apart from a brief, penitent address by a time-travelling monarch) and very rock and roll.
