Hire us - live performance engagements

As well as promoting its own concerts, Crouch End Festival Chorus regularly takes part in live performance engagements. In recent years, the choir has performed to capacity audiences in the Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Hammersmith Apollo and the Roundhouse.

We have sung with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta, under conductors as eminent as Valery Gergiev, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Daniele Gatti – and we have appeared on ITV, BBC TV, Radio 2, Radio 3 and Classic FM.

Live performance engagements have included:

  • Every Ennio Morricone concert in London since his debut here in 2001
  • BBC Electric Prom Roundhouse concerts with Ray Davies, 2007 and Oasis, 2008
  • BBC revival of John Foulds’s A World Requiem, 2007 (Royal Albert Hall, broadcast live on Radio 3 and recorded for Chandos)
  • BBC Promenade Concerts in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2009
  • London premiere of Gavin Bryars’s From Egil’s Saga with London Sinfonietta
